There are a few areas to choose from where most of the accommodations are concentrated:
- Inside Torres del Paine National Park. There are a limited variety of accommodations within the boundary of the park. Most hotels are located either along Lago Pehoe, Lago Grey or around the Welcome Centre close to the Mirador las Torres Base hike. Then there are campsites and refuges dotted along the W and O Trek routes, typically booked by those completing either of these treks.
- Just Outside Torres del Paine National Park. There are a high concentration of hotels located at the southern entrance to the park, along the Serrano River. You can also find a couple of accommodation options near the eastern entrance and in Cerro Castillo, the Chilean-Argentine border town.

Their rooms are spacious, with views of the Torres del Paine massif and the Salto Chico waterfall. You can use free WiFi in the communal areas and they have a heated pool, sauna and outdoor hot tubs.
Explora Patagonia offers all-inclusive packages for a minimum of 3 nights or more. Their rates include all transportation to and from the park, meals and drinks, as well as offering a variety of activities to explore Torres Del Paine, including horse-back riding and a catamaran cruise across the lake.
As a photographer, the boardwalks around the hotel with the lake and the mountains in the distance was one of my favourite views in the entire national park. Just imagine waking up for sunrise here or admiring the scenery during the golden hour.

2. Hotel Las Torres Patagonia
🛌BEST FOR: Those who want both comfort and to be close to the Mirador las Torres Base trailhead.
One of the most ideally located accommodations in Torres del Paine is Hotel Las Torres. Hotel Las Torres offers different packages including all-inclusive and half-board experiences. They have spacious rooms with fantastic views of the valley and the mountains. Their on-site restaurant serves some traditional dishes and they also have a bar and spa facilities. Plus, they offer many experiences such as horse-back riding.
We’ve seen many videos on social media where pumas walked right across the area in front of the hotel, which is another good reason to book your stay here.

Final Thoughts on Accommodations in Torres del Paine
Since we were long-term traveling through South America, we had no way of knowing the exact dates that we would be visiting Torres del Paine. This essentially resulted in us not being able to book anything inside the park in the end (not even campsites), so we stayed in Puerto Natales.
Therefore, if you have your heart set on staying inside the park, especially if you’re wanting to find a more budget-friendly option, you need to book your stay as early as possible. If you found this blog post useful and want to show your support, you can buy us a coffee here.
