Bogotá City Guides

The capital city of Colombia is often overlooked in favour of much more popular cities in the country such as Medellin and Cartagena. However, Bogotá is definitely a city that’s worth spending some time in. There are endless things to do, both in its colourful historic centre, La Candelaria, and around it.

Cartagena de Indias

Cartagena is filled with historical buildings, colourful streets, meaningful street art, plenty of cafes, restaurants and unforgettable sunsets. There are also some stunning beaches in the area. The city is a blend of the traditional and modern, which creates a unique atmosphere that makes it one of the most visited places in Colombia.

Medellin City Guides

Medellin is located in the Aburrá Valley and is Colombia’s second most populous city. Thanks to its altitude, it enjoys mild temperatures all year-round which is why it’s often referred to as the City of Eternal Spring. Just outside of the city is Guatape, one of the most colourful towns in the country. Nearby you can visit La Piedra del Peñol, one of the most iconic landmarks in Colombia. All of our guides include details on how to get to these places, how long you should stay for, where to eat and of course all the best things to do.

Salento & The Cocora Valley

The colourful Salento is one of the most popular places to visit within the Coffee Triangle of Colombia. Located a short drive from Salento you’ll find the Cocora Valley (Valle de Cocora), which is home to Colombia’s national tree: the Quindío Wax Palms. All of our guides include details on how to get to these places, how long you should stay for, where to eat and of course all the best things to do.

Southwest Colombia

Places in the southwest of Colombia are nowhere near as visited as the Caribbean coast of the country. However, there are many beautiful destinations in this area such as the unique Tatacoa Desert (Desierto de la Tatacoa) or the Salsa Capital of the World, Santiago de Cali.
